Rikku is a young, bubbly Al Bhed girl with a wild blond hair and lively green eyes. She fabricated her debut in Final Fantasy X as Miss ??? who helped Tidus early on on the story ~ albeit an equivalent of Yuffie Kisaragi in terms of task and flamboyant personality. In Terminal Fantasy Ten-2, her default task is a Thief and the activeness figure of which would exist reviewed hither.

The four main views

Rikku's Final Fantasy 10-2 Play Arts action effigy was released alongside Yuna (no. 1) and Paine (no. iii) dorsum in July 2003 on Japan while around 2004 in the US. She forth with her fellow Gullwing girls are the commencement Play Arts action figures, the forerunners ~ which is in the same essence as Figma'due south Juohmaru and Sakurahime. The only deviation of which is that FFX-2 Play Arts are not given a considerable re-run thus allowing a lot of calumniating Evil-bay sellers, joy bidders and snipers to do their usual hobby.

http://s253.photobucket.com/albums/hh64/Balthier_Bunanza/th_RikkuArticulation.jpg

Rikku'south articulation is very much primitive compared to the current Play Arts action figures that boasts more or less xx points of articulation every bit the box says. Rikku has exactly 16 points of articulation (Hair, Neck, 4 Shoulders - Cut and hinge, 2 Elbows, ii Wrists, 5-Crotch, ii Knees and ii Feet) and I could say that she has the fewest articulation among all the Play Arts figures released so far.

The closest which 1 would get to the in-game opinion

To bear witness this, Yangus of Dragon Quest Eight has 17 by the style and he certainly has "that" which Rikku doesn't have -- a waist articulation. Having that, even simply a cut, would've improved Rikku'due south poseability and that of which she could at to the lowest degree imitate her in-game stance. Sadly, I guess they went for the ecchi cistron and so every bit not to ruin Rikku's shapely body with some random joint. NO, it's non a random joint ~ information technology's necessary.

Rikku isn't all so bad, she really has something which could put the Tifa FFVII effigy to shame = removable skirt. Truly an Ecchi effigy eh? No, that feature isn't at that place for ecchi reasons. Information technology's there so as not to restrict Rikku's V-Crotch joints and not to further the thumbs downwardly on the effigy'south poseability.

Haha, but that'due south not my favorite part of the figure ~ I'd accept to go with the beautiful flaming scarf which is made of soft plastic. Rikku is too the just Play Arts effigy with movable hair wherein you can put information technology at the dorsum, front, side then on but you'd accept to be sober to movement it; otherwise you'd terminate up damaging the hair and going "ZETSUBO-SH1TTA!"

She comes with an alternating pair of empty easily and a transparent waist clasper stand. Simply the FFX-ii girls have transparent stands. The pet peeves on the transparent stands is that they tin can plow into pee-like yellow (seriously) as time goes by. Indeed, right now, each FFX-2 figure would take been five years old (Japanese) or four years former (English) then don't be shocked if you see the stand up or Rikku's "sleeves" yellowing. Nobody peed on your figure.

~ Recommendation
For those who are not lucky to get Rikku dorsum in 2003 or 2004; $70+ is the usual ending bid for this figure in E-bay and that'south not including the Shipping fee.

What makes this figure worth all the problem?
- Removable brim. Acknowledge it or not, the figure collecting scene is flooded with ecchi figures nowadays and having at least i or more than cast-off gimmicks would add extra value to the figure.
- The rarest Play Arts effigy amongst the ranks of Cloud and Fenrir Appearance Pieces (which I don't accept...darn) and the Valor Form Sora.
- She's the only Rikku activeness figure released so far!

What makes this figure not worth the trouble?
- Unimpressive box art. The box art just has her in-game official art and just that. (Sorry simply, I can't find the box around hither...)
- Archaic joint count.
- Confront doesn't seem to exist too faithful and the Al Bhed eyes don't accept swirls on them.
- Yellowing of the white sleeves and transparent stand
- Unsatisfactory paint chore on the easily with the Slicers.
- Pocket-size over-all peak compared to the recently released and re-run Concluding Fantasy X Play Arts.
- Paint Bleeds on her otherwise impressive wild blond hair. I'm talking about the blueish and crimson beads. Repainting them with Gundam Markers could requite you some challenge.
- She's bow-legged... ^^;
